Save the date, licensed RAEs!
We are excited to announce we’ve listed the first Rainbow Advocate Clinical Specialist training dates on the official event calendar!
Our second class offers a clinical, in-depth approach to treating clients who identify as LGBTQIA2+.
As you recall, our module 1 Rainbow Advocate & Educator class gives attendees a chance to learn about each sub-community, the history of the community, the impact of HIV/AIDS, cultural humility and compassion, as well as possible developmental models for different identities.
Our second class is going to discuss topics such as internalized homophobia, coming out in an unsupportive environment, the transitioning process, along with more insight into medical transitions and resources, treating toxic shame, increasing resilience, AND MORE! Our faculty will provide experientials and worksheets that will enrich your knowledge and approach to providing treatment.
In order to register for the clinical training, you must
- Be a licensed mental health professional
- Have completed the RAE Module 1
